Semi n-submodules of modules over commutative rings

Abstract
Let be a commutative ring with identity and a unitary -module. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of semi--submodules as an extension of semi -ideals and -submodules. A proper submodule of is called a semi -submodule if whenever , with , and , then . Several properties, characterizations of this class of submodules with many supporting examples are presented. Furthermore, semi -submodules of amalgamated modules are investigated.
