Proper absolute extensors

Abstract

We describe the proper absolute (neighborhood) extensors for the class of at most nn-dimensional spaces, notation A(N)Ep(n)\rm{A(N)E}_p(n). For example, the unique locally compact nn-dimensional separable metric space XAEp(n)X\in\rm{AE}_p(n) satisfiyng the DDnP\rm{DD^nP}-property is the nn-dimensional Menger compactum without a point. Non-metrizable A(N)Ep(n)\rm{A(N)E}_p(n)-spaces are also described.
