On the nonnegativity of $L(\frac 12,\pi)$ for $SO(2n+1)$

Abstract

Let π\pi be a cuspidal generic representation of SO(2n+1,\A){\rm SO}(2n+1,\A). We prove that L(12,π)0L(\frac12,\pi)\ge0.
