Abstract

Let GG be a finite group and HH be a subgroup of GG. Then HH is said to be a pp-CAPCAP-subgroup of GG, if HH covers or avoids any pdpd-chief factor of GG. Furthermore, HH is said to be a strong pp-CAPCAP-subgroup of GG, if for any HKGH \leq K \leq G, HH is a pp-CAPCAP-subgroup of KK. A subgroup LL is called an ICSPCICSPC-subgroup of GG, if [L,G]LLspcG[L,G] \cap L \leq L_{spcG}, where LspcGL_{spcG} denotes a strong pp-CAPCAP-subgroup of GG contained in LL. In this paper, we investigate the structure of GG under the assumption that certain subgroups of GG are ICSPCICSPC-subgroups of GG. Characterizations for pp-nilpotency and solvably saturated formation are obtained. We also get several criteria for the structure of GG under the assumption that certain subgroups of GG are ICSPCICSPC-subgroups of GG.
