On domination perfect graphs

Abstract

Let γ(G)\gamma(G) and β(G)\beta(G) denote the domination number and the covering number of a graph GG, respectively. A connected non-trivial graph GG is said to be γβ\gamma\beta-{perfect} if γ(H)=β(H)\gamma(H)=\beta(H) for every non-trivial induced connected subgraph HH of GG. In this note we present an elementary proof of a characterization of the γβ\gamma\beta-perfect graphs.
