Number Theory 2021-03-02 v2

Abstract

If a multiplicative function ff satisfies f(a2+b2+c2)=f(a)2+f(b)2+f(c)2f(a^2+b^2+c^2) = f(a)^2+f(b)^2+f(c)^2 for all positive integers aa, bb, and cc, then ff is an identity function.
