Multi-point Seshadri constants on ruled surfaces

Abstract

Let XX be a surface and let LL be an ample line bundle on XX. We first obtain a lower bound for the Seshadri constant ε(X,L,r)\varepsilon(X,L,r), when r3r \ge 3. We then assume that XX is a ruled surface and study Seshadri constants on XX in greater detail. We also make precise computations of Seshadri constants on XX in some cases.
