Masses of spin-1 mesons and dynamical chiral symmetry breaking

Abstract

In terms of an effective chiral theory of mesons it is shown quantitatively that in the limit of mq=0m_{q}=0, the masses of ρ\rho, ω\omega, K(892)K^{*}(892), mϕm_{\phi}, a1a_{1}, f1(1286)f_{1}(1286), K1(1400)K_{1}(1400), and f1(1510)f_{1}(1510) mesons originate from dynamical chiral symmetry breaking.
