Rings and Algebras 2020-10-20 v1

Abstract

In this paper we introduce the notion of the center ZBin(X)ZBin(X) in the semigroup Bin(X)Bin(X) of all binary systems on a set XX, and show that if (X,)ZBin(X)(X,\bullet)\in ZBin(X), then xyx\not=y implies {x,y}={xy,yx}\{x,y\}=\{x\bullet y,y\bullet x\}.Moreover, we show that a groupoid (X,)ZBin(X)(X,\bullet )\in ZBin(X) if and only if it is a locally-zero groupoid.
