Interpolating the Derivatives of the Gamma Function

Classical Analysis and ODEs 2019-11-05 v1

Abstract

We consider a function G(λ,z)G(\lambda, z), entire in λ\lambda, which interpolates the derivatives of the Gamma function in the sense that G(m,z)=Γ(m)(z)G(m, z) = \Gamma^{(m)}(z) for any integer m0m \geq 0 and we calculate the asymptotics of G(λ,z)G(\lambda, z) as λ+\lambda \to +\infty.
