Hida theory for Shimura varieties of Hodge type

Abstract

In this article, we generalize the work of H.Hida and V.Pilloni to construct pp-adic families of μ\mu-ordinary modular forms on Shimura varieties of Hodge type Sh(G,X)Sh(G,X) associated to a Shimura datum (G,X)(G,X) where GG is a connected reductive group over Q\mathbb{Q} and is unramified at pp, such that the adjoint quotient GadG^\mathrm{ad} has no simple factors isomorphic to PGL2\mathrm{PGL}_2.
