Abstract
A low-energy collider has been discussed in the context of a testbed for a interaction region at the Next Linear Collider (NLC). We consider the production of heavy mesons at such a testbed using Compton-backscattered photons and demonstrate that their production rivals or exceeds those by BELLE, BABAR or LEP where they are produced indirectly via virtual luminosities.
