Abstract

Let GG be a nontrivial graph with minimum degree δ\delta and kk an integer with k2k\ge 2. In the literature, there are eigenvalue conditions that imply GG contains kk edge-disjoint spanning trees. We give eigenvalue conditions that imply GG contains kk edge-disjoint spanning trees and another forest FF with E(F)>δ1δ(V(G)1)|E(F)|>\frac{\delta-1}{\delta}(|V(G)|-1), and if FF is not a spanning tree, then FF has a component with at least δ\delta edges.
