Number Theory 2024-02-14 v1

Abstract

We show that for any set DD of at least two digits in a given base bb, there exists a δ(D,b)>0\delta(D,b)>0 such that within the set A\mathcal{A} of numbers whose digits base bb are exclusively from DD, the number of even integers in A\mathcal{A} which are less than XX and not representable as the sum of two primes is less than A(X)1δ|\mathcal{A}(X)|^{1-\delta}
