$CP$ violation in modular invariant flavor models

Abstract

We study the spontaneous CPCP violation through the stabilization of the modulus τ\tau in modular invariant flavor models. The CPCP-invaraiant potentential has the minimum only at Re[τ]=0{\rm Re}[\tau] = 0 or 1/2. From this prediction, we study CPCP violation in modular invariant flavor models. The physical CPCP phase is vanishing. The important point for the CPCP conservation is the TT transformation in the modular symmetry. One needs the violation of TT symmetry to realize the spontaneous CPCP violation.
