Zero-Annihilator Graphs of Commutative Rings

Commutative Algebra 2016-09-09 v1

Abstract

Assume that RR is a commutative ring with nonzero identity. In this paper, we introduce and investigate zero-annihilator graph of RR denoted by ZA(R)\mathtt{ZA}(R). It is the graph whose vertex set is the set of all nonzero nonunit elements of RR and two distinct vertices xx and yy are adjacent whenever AnnR(x)AnnR(y)={0}{\rm Ann}_R(x)\cap {\rm Ann}_R(y)=\{0\}.
