Abstract
We introduce the notion of scattering space for -body quantum mechanical systems, where is a cluster decomposition with and is a real number . Utilizing these spaces, we give a decomposition of continuous spectral subspace by for -body quantum systems with long-range pair potentials . This is extended to a decomposition by with for some long-range case. We also prove a characterization of ranges of wave operators by .
