Remarks on NIP in a model

Logic 2019-09-11 v1

Abstract

We define the notion ϕ(x,y)\phi(x,y) has NIPNIP in AA, where AA is a subset of a model, and give some equivalences by translating results from [1]. Using additional material from [11] we discuss the number of coheirs when AA is not necessarily countable. We also revisit the notion "ϕ(x,y)\phi(x,y) has NOPNOP in a model MM" from [8].
