Abstract

Let R1R_1 and R2R_2 be commutative rings with 10,  M1\neq 0,\;M and NN be unitary R1R_1-module and R2R_2-module, respectively. f:R1R2f:R_1\rightarrow R_2 be a ring homomorphism and φ:MN\varphi: M\rightarrow N be an RR-module homomorphism. This article studied 22-absorbing submodule that is a generalization of the concept of prime submodule. Firstly, some characterizations of 22-absorbing submodule are presented. Then, we examine the notion of 22-absorbing submodule in amalgamation module MφJNM \bowtie^{\varphi} JN. We detected when FφJNF\bowtie^\varphi JN is a 22-absorbing submodule of MφJNM \bowtie^{\varphi} JN by using the isomorphism MφJNFφJNMF\frac{M \bowtie^{\varphi} JN}{F \bowtie^{\varphi} JN} \cong \frac{M}{F} and the homomorphism pγ:MφJNφ(M)+JNp_{\gamma}: M \bowtie^{\varphi} JN \rightarrow \varphi(M)+JN, where JJ be an ideal of R2R_2 and FF be a submodule of M.M.
