Lambda and Lambda-bar polarization as a measurement of distribution and fragmentation functions

Abstract

A combined analysis of the polarization vector of the Lambda baryons produced in DIS processes may give a relevant insight of the hadronization process which governs the transition from partons to physical hadrons and precise indications on the mechanisms of spinspin transfer from partons to hadrons. We give here a short review of some interesting results.
