Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence for twisted vector bundles

Abstract

We prove the Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence and the approximate Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence for twisted holomorphic vector bundles on compact K\"ahler manifolds. More precisely, if XX is a compact manifold and gg is a Gauduchon metric on XX, a twisted holomorphic vector bundle on XX is gg-polystable if and only if it is gg-Hermite-Einstein, and if XX is a compact K\"ahler manifold and gg is a K\"ahler metric on XX, then a twisted holomorphic vector bundle on XX is gg-semistable if and only if it is approximate gg-Hermite-Einstein.
