Intermediate Intrinsic Density and Randomness

Logic 2021-05-13 v3

Abstract

Given any 1-random set XX and any r(0,1)r\in(0,1), we construct a set of intrinsic density rr which is computable from rXr\oplus X. For almost all rr, this set will be the first known example of an intrinsic density rr set which cannot compute any rr-Bernoulli random set. To achieve this, we shall formalize the {\tt into} and {\tt within} noncomputable coding methods which work well with intrinsic density.
