Initial Coefficients of Bi-univalent Functions

Complex Variables 2012-07-30 v1

Abstract

An analytic function ff defined on the open unit disk D={z:z<1}\mathbb{D}=\{z:|z|<1\} is bi-univalent if the function ff and its inverse f1f^{-1} are univalent in D\mathbb{D}. Estimates for the initial coefficients of bi-univalent functions ff are investigated when ff and f1f^{-1} respectively belong to some subclasses of univalent functions. Some earlier results are shown to be special cases of our results.
