Finite solvable groups with a nilpotent normal complement subgroup

Group Theory 2023-11-20 v6

Abstract

Let GG be a finite solvable group and HH a non-normal core-free subgroup of GG. We show that if the normalizer of any non-trivial normal subgroup of Fit(H)Fit(H) is equal HH, then HH has a nilpotent normal complement KK such that G=KHG=KH and KZ(Fit(H))KZ(Fit(H)) is a Frobenius group.
