Effective Theory Approach to SUSY Hadron Spectroscopy

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2008-11-26 v1

Abstract

Supersymmetric hadrons of the type tgtg\tg\tg, tgg\tg g and tgqqˉ\tg q\bar q could exist depending on the masses of the gluino and the squarks being in an appropriate range of values. We find the energy levels of tgg\tg g and tgqqˉ\tg q\bar q bound states (where qq denotes a light quark, uu, dd or ss), as well as the strong interaction transition rates among them, using a Heavy Gluino Effective Theory, much in the same spirit as the well-known Heavy Quark Effective Theory. The results are obtained with greater ease and elegance in comparison to other approaches.
