Duality relations in proton diffraction dissociation and in DIS

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2017-11-08 v1

Abstract

We use duality to relate resonances in missing mass MM to the large-mass diffraction dissociation of protons. In deep inelastic lepton-hadron scattering (DIS), hadronic resonances are related by duality in Q2Q^2 to the low-xx, smooth behaviour of the DIS structure functions.
