Abstract

Let SS be a family of sequences of positive numbers that decrease to 0, let XX be a metric space and AXA \subset X. AA is said to be SS-dominated if, for every sSs\in S, a countable cover {En}\{E_n\} of EE can be found such that diamEn<sndiam E_n < s_n for all nn. We examine the family of all SS-dominated sets, denoted by D(S)\mathcal{D}(S). In particular, we examine the connections between D(S)\mathcal{D}(S) and families of sets with zero Hausdorff measure for some gauges.
