Abstract
The next major project of particle physics will be the International Linear Collider: a linear accelerator in which electrons and positrons will collide with energies of 500 to around 1000 billion electronvolts. The LPSC-Grenoble is involved in the R\&D activities for the International Large Detector (ILD) and in particular in the electromagnetic calorimeter (ECal): i.e. design of the fastening and cooling systems, design of the mechanics of the end-caps, test of EM prototypes, tooling and integration of the end-caps.
