In this paper, we prove a rigidity theorem of asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds only under the assumptions on curvature. Its proof is based on analyzing asymptotic structures of such manifolds at infinity and a volume comparison theorem.

We prove that all Lagrangian spheres in S^2 x S^2 are Hamiltonian isotopic. The proof uses various properties of holomorphic curves in symplectic manifolds with cylindrical ends which were recently developed in connection with the…

This paper treats the dynamics and scattering of a model of coupled oscillating systems, a finite dimensional one and a wave field on the half line. The coupling is realized producing the family of selfadjoint extensions of the suitably…

In this work we study the asymptotics of the fractional Laplacian as $s\to 0^+$ on any complete Riemannian manifold $(M,g)$, both of finite and infinite volume. Surprisingly enough, when $M$ is not stochastically complete this asymptotics…

A crucial element of scattering theory and the LSZ reduction formula is the assumption that the coupling vanishes at large times. This is known not to hold for the theories of the Standard Model and in general such asymptotic dynamics is…

The asymptotic phase is a fundamental quantity for the analysis of deterministic limit-cycle oscillators, and generalized definitions of the asymptotic phase for stochastic oscillators have also been proposed. In this article, we show that…

We prove an exact trace formula for the Laplacian with a delta potential - also known as a point scatterer - on a non-compact hyperbolic surface of finite volume with one cusp. Our formula is an analogue of the Selberg trace formula. We…
