We have examined Lorentz invariance and equivalence principle violations in the neutrino sector as manifested in neutrinoless double beta decay. We conclude that this rare decay cannot provide a useful view of these exotic processes.

It has recently been proposed that violations of Lorentz invariance or violations of the equivalence principle can be constrained from the non-observation of neutrinoless double beta decay. We generalize this analysis to all possible new…

We generalize the formalism for testing Lorentz invariance and the equivalence principle in the neutrino sector. While neutrino oscillation bounds constrain the region of large mixing of the the weak and gravitational eigenstates, we obtain…

We discuss the potential of neutrinoless double beta decay for testing Lorentz invariance and the weak equivalence principle as well as contributions from dilaton exchange gravity in the neutrino sector. While neutrino oscillation bounds…

We study the effects of violation of the equivalence principle (VEP) or violation of Lorentz invariance (LIV) in the neutrino sector on the asymmetry between T-conjugate oscillation probabilities, $\Delta P_T \equiv P(\nu_{\alpha} \to…

We consider three possible manifestations of physics beyond the Standard Model, and the relations among them. These are Lorentz non-invariance (LNI), violations of the Weak Equivalence Principle (WEP), and indications of time-varying…

We make a comprehensive investigation of the Lorentz invariance violation (LIV) effects that may occur in two-neutrino double-beta ($2\nu\beta\beta$) decay for all the experimentally interesting nuclei. We deduce the formulas for the LIV…

A violation of Local Lorentz Invariance (VLI) and hence the special theory of relativity or a violation of equivalence principle (VEP) in the Kaon system can, in principle, induce oscillations between $K^0$ and $\bar{K}^0$. We construct a…

Violation of Lorentz invariance (VLI) has been suggested as an explanation of the superluminal velocities of muon neutrinos reported by OPERA. In this note we show that the amount of VLI required to explain this result poses severe…

We study the possible impact of the neutrino oscillation which could be induced by a tiny violation of equivalence principle (VEP) for neutrinos emitted from supernova driven by gravitational collapse. Due to the absence of any significant…
