We present results for the light quark masses in lattice QCD with two degenerate flavours of dynamical fermions. We used configurations generated by the UKQCD and QCDSF collaborations at six different combinations of beta and kappa_sea.

I report on cost estimates and algorithmic performance in simulations using 2 flavours of non-perturbatively O(a) improved Wilson quarks together with the Wilson plaquette action.

We briefly describe some of our recent results for the mass spectrum and matrix elements using $O(a)$ improved fermions for quenched QCD. Where possible a comparison is made between improved and Wilson fermions.

We discuss a mixed-action approach in which sea quarks are regularised using non-perturbatively ${\rm O}(a)$ improved Wilson fermions, while a fully-twisted tmQCD action is used for valence quarks. In this setup, automatic ${\rm O}(a)$…

We compute the improvement coefficient $c_{sw}$ that multiplies the Sheikholeslami-Wohlert term as a function of the bare gauge coupling for two flavour QCD. We discuss several aspects concerning simulations with improved dynamical Wilson…

The chirally rotated Schr\"odinger functional for Wilson-fermions allows for finite-volume, mass-independent renormalization schemes compatible with automatic O($a$) improvement. So far, in QCD, the set-up has only been studied in the…

We describe the extension of the improvement program for bilinear operators composed of Wilson fermions to non-degenerate dynamical quarks. We consider two, three and four flavors, and both flavor non-singlet and singlet operators. We find…

We present results for the hadron spectrum and static quark potential from a simulation with two flavours of $O(a)$ improved dynamical Wilson fermions at $\beta=5.2$. We address the issues of sea quark dependence of observables and…

The maximally twisted lattice QCD action of an $SU_f(2)$ doublet of mass degenerate Wilson quarks gives rise to a real positive fermion determinant and it is invariant under the product of standard parity times the change of sign of the…

We consider O(a) improvement for two flavor lattice QCD. The improvement term in the action is computed non-perturbatively for a large range of the bare coupling. The position of the critical line and higher order lattice artifacts…

We have investigated QCD with two flavors of degenerate fermions using a Symanzik-improved lattice action for both the gauge and fermion actions. Our study focuses on the deconfinement transition on an $N_t=4$ lattice. Having located the…

We propose a method to improve lattice operators composed of Wilson fermions which allows the removal of all corrections of $O(a)$, including those proportional to the quark mass. It requires off-shell improvement of quark fields and…
