The instability of transverse wobbling claim is disputed.
It is shown that the Comment by Phair et al. on PRL 77, 3514 (1996) does not challenge the paper by Tõke et al. It is, in fact, consistent with all conclusions of the targeted paper. The Comment disputes claims never made.
Critiques presented by P. Grassberger in Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 140601 (2005) are addressed.
Statements included in the comment published by Schumann et al. (arXiv:1904.03023v1) are contradicted by documents that were communicated to one of the co-authors of the comment (Dr. Koester). These documents are reviewed but cannot be…
Paper withdrawn due to errors. Revised version may or may not appear in the future.
Comment on T. M. Squires and M. P. Brenner, Phys.Rev.Lett. 85, 4976 (2000)
We reply to the comment of Becker, Nelissen, Cleuren, Partoens, and Van den Broeck, Phys. Rev. E 93, 046101 (2016) on our article, Phys. Rev. E 90, 052108 (2014) about transport properties of a class of generalized exclusion processes.
This paper is a ``Habilitationsschrift'', a second thesis required until recently by universities in Germany and in a few other countries to obtain the right to lecture. It was accepted by the University of Goettingen in 1990 after review…

In Appendix B, there is a proposal about the Limb Effect which could be of great significance for Solar Physics. In his PRINCIPLE OF RELATIVITY, Cambridge University Press, 1922 (republished Dover, 2004) A. N. Whitehead, making no use of…
Talk presented by the second author at the Inaugural Coference of the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics, Seoul, June 1996. The purpose of this note is to give a resume of the Seiberg-Witten theory in the simplest possible…
This paper replies the comments by J. D. Jackson [Am. J. Phys. 75, 844-845 (2007)] and V. Hnizdo [Am. J. Phys. 75, 845-846 (2007)].
[Translation of and Commentary on L\'eon Rosenfeld's "Ueber die Gravitationwirkungen des Lichtes", Zeitschrift fur Physik 65: 589-599 (1930). Originally published in German. Submitted for publication on September 26, 1930. See [1] in the…
Talk given at ICM '98, Berlin, reviewing some of the recent developments in understanding of string theory for a mathematical audience (to appear in Documenta Mathematica).
These are yet another lecture notes on Seiberg-Witten invariants, where no claim of originality is made, they contain a discussion of some related results from the recent literature.
Lecture given Wednesday 27 October 1993 at a Physics -- Computer Science Colloquium at the University of New Mexico. The lecture was videotaped; this is an edited transcript. It also incorporates remarks made at the Limits to Scientific…
The work concerns relativistic effects and the influence of an external magnetic field on the transmission coefficient. The Fowler-Nordheim equation has been relativistically generalized and effect of the Lorentz contraction of a potential…
The relativistic Lagrangian for a spinning particle in an electromagnetic field is derived from the known Lagrangian in the particle's rest frame. The resulting relativistic Stern-Gerlach and Thomas precession forces on the particle are…
We reply to the comment arXiv:quant-ph/0702060 on our letter arXiv:quant-ph/0603120 [Phys. Rev. Lett. 96, 100402 (2006)]
Frank Wilczek's essay "Total Relativity: Mach 2004" (PHYSICS TODAY April, 2004, p. 10) cogently updates the status of the intuitively compelling, but partly unrealized, theory of Mach's Principle. I think, however, that an important…
