We obtain necessary conditions for the existence of complete vertical graphs of constant mean curvature in the Hyperbolic and Steady State spaces. In the two-dimensional case we prove Bernstein-type results in each of these ambient spaces.

On some specified convex supporting sets of spheres, we find a generalized longitude function whose level sets are totally geodesic. Given an arbitrary (weakly) harmonic map into spheres, the composition of the generalized longitude…

Consider a fixed connected, finite graph $\Gamma$ and equip its vertices with weights $p_i$ which are non-negative integers. We show that there is a finite number of possibilities for the coefficients of the canonical cycle of a numerically…

A minimal counterexample to the Erd\H{o}s-Gy\'arf\'as conjecture is a graph of minimum possible order and size with minimum degree at least 3 that contains no cycle whose length is a power of 2. Markstr\"om observed that any such graph must…

We construct a parabolic entire minimal graph $S$ over a finite topology complete Riemannian surface $\Sigma$ of curvature $-1$ and infinite area (thus of non-parabolic conformal type). The vertical projection of this graph yields a…

Charts are oriented labeled graphs in a disk. Any simple surface braid (2-dimensional braid) can be described by using a chart. Also, a chart represents an oriented closed surface embedded in 4-space. In this paper, we investigate embedded…

In this paper we prove two theorems. The first one is a structure result that describes the extrinsic geometry of an embedded surface with constant mean curvature (possibly zero) in a homogeneously regular Riemannian three-manifold, in any…

An alternative, geometrical proof of a known theorem concerning the decomposition of positive maps of the matrix algebra $M_{2}(\mathbb{C})$ has been presented. The premise of the proof is the identification of positive maps with operators…
