The masses of heavy quark baryons are studied in an expansion in 1/N_c, SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking, and heavy-quark symmetry breaking. Very accurate model-independent mass relations are obtained for charm and bottom baryons.
We study electromagnetic mass splittings of charmed baryons. We point out discrepancies among theoretical predictions in non-relativistic potential models. None of them seems supported by experimental data. A new calculation is presented.
The interactions of $\bar{D}\Sigma_{c}$-$\bar D\Lambda_c$, $\bar{D}^{*}\Sigma_{c}$-$\bar D^*\Lambda_c$, and related strangeness channels, are studied within the framework of the coupled channel unitary approach with the local hidden gauge…
We study the spectra of charmonia, charmed mesons, singly and doubly charmed baryons using Lattice QCD, with 2+1 flavours of fermions. In the case of mesons, we include higher spin states, while for baryons, both positive and negative…
The magnetic moments of ground state single, double and triple heavy baryons containing charm or bottom quarks are calculated in a relativistic three-quark model, which, in the heavy quark limit, is consistent with Heavy Quark Effective…
We derive mass formulas for the $P$-wave orbitally excited $D^*_{0(s)}$, $D^\prime_{1(s)}$, $D_{1(s)}$, and $D^*_{2(s)}$ heavy charmed mesons including all effects from one-loop corrections that contribute at leading order in chiral…
Charm spectroscopy has studied under a string model. Charmed baryons are composed of diquark and charm quark which are connected by a constant tension. In a diquark picture, the quantum numbers $J^P$ of confirmed baryons are well assigned.…
Motivated by the first observation of the double-charm tetraquark $T_{cc}^+(3875)$ by the LHCb Collaboration, we investigate the nature of $T_{cc}^+$ as an isoscalar $DD^*$ hadronic molecule in a meson-exchange potential model incorporated…
We have developed a self-consistent theoretical approach to study the modification of the properties of heavy mesons in hot mesonic matter which takes into account chiral and heavy-quark spin-flavor symmetries. The heavy-light meson-meson…
A resently developed generalization of the Quark--Gluon String Model to the case of bosonic resonances production in hadron--hadron collisions is used for the calculation of inclusive production of charmed mesons $D$, $D^*(2010)$ and…
In the present work, we have studied the masses and magnetic moments of spin$-{\frac{1}{2}}^+$ and spin$-{\frac{3}{2}}^+$ singly and doubly charmed baryons in the strange hadronic medium at finite temperature using the chiral SU(3) quark…
Fragmentation functions for heavy-light mesons, like the charmed D, D^* mesons, are proposed. They rest on next-to-leading QCD Perturbative Fragmentation Functions for heavy quarks, with the addition of a non-perturbative term describing…
Recently, a number of exotic hadrons have been reported in the experiments, and most of these states lie slightly below the threshold. Therefore, these states are considered to be hadronic molecules composed of mesons or baryons. In 2022,…
We study the production of charmed hadrons $D^{0}$ and $\Lambda_c^+$ in relativistic heavy-ion collisions using an improved quark coalescence model. In particular, we extend the usual coalescence model by letting a produced hadron to have…
Heavy quarks are predominantly generated at the initial stage of relativistic heavy-ion collisions such that heavy flavor observables have the potential to provide information on the pre-equilibrium medium dynamics. In this study, we…
We present a short review of our results on the collectivity and the suppression pattern of charmed mesons in heavy-ion collisions based on the microscopic Hadron-String Dynamics (HSD) transport approach for different scenarios of charm…
The model dependence of the predictions of nucleon resonances with hidden charm is investigated. We consider several coupled-channel models which are derived from relativistic quantum field theory by using (1) a unitary transformation…
We briefly expose our model for generating open and hidden charm resonances and present the most interesting results.
Conventional hadronic matter consists of baryons and mesons made of three quarks and quark-antiquark pairs, respectively. The observation of a new type of hadronic state, a doubly charmed tetraquark containing two charm quarks, an anti-$u$…
The recent reported charmed-strange resonance at 2.32 GeV/c suggests a possible multiquark state. Three types of multiquark bound states are reviewed. A previous model-independent variational approach considers a tetraquark with two heavy…
