We show that Horrocks' criterion for the splitting of rank two vector bundles in P^3 can be extended, with some assumptions on the Chern classes, on non singular hypersurfaces in P^4. Extension of other splitting criterion are studied.

Let $f:X\rightarrow Y$ be a generically smooth morphism between irreducible smooth projective curves over an algebraically closed field of arbitrary characteristic. We prove that the vector bundle $((f_*{\mathcal O}_X)/{\mathcal O}_Y)^*$ is…

We provide a splitting criterion for supervector bundles over the projective superspaces $\mathbb{P}^{n|m}$. More precisely, we prove that a rank $p|q$ supervector bundle on $\mathbb{P}^{n|m}$ with vanishing intermediate cohomology is…

We study a natural map from representations of a free group of rank g in GL(n,C), to holomorphic vector bundles of degree 0 over a compact Riemann surface X of genus g, associated with a Schottky uniformization of X. Maximally unstable flat…

We consider smooth, complete Riemannian manifolds which are exponentially locally doubling. Under a uniform Ricci curvature bound and a uniform lower bound on injectivity radius, we prove a Kato square root estimate for certain coercive…

We give examples of stable rank 2 vector bundles on principally polarized abelian threefolds, and study their deformations. The starting point is the Serre construction, which gives a source of examples, and which we rephrase in terms of…

We describe a vector bundle $\sE$ on a smooth $n$-dimensional ACM variety in terms of its cohomological invariants $H^i_*(\sE)$, $1\leq i \leq n-1$, and certain graded modules of "socle elements" built from $\sE$. In this way we give a…

Clifford indices for semistable vector bundles on a smooth projective curve of genus at least 4 were defined in previous papers of the authors. In the present paper, we establish lower bounds for the Clifford indices for rank 3 bundles. As…

In this paper, we compare the moduli spaces of rank-3 vector bundles stable with respect to different ample divisors over rational ruled surfaces. We also discuss the irreducibility, unirationality, and rationality of these moduli spaces.
