In this short paper, we show that K\"ahler-Ricci flows over closed manifolds would have scalar curvature blown-up for finite time singularity. Certain control of the blowing-up is achieved with some mild assumption.

In this note we study finite-time singularities in the Chern-Ricci flow. We show that finite-time singularities are characterized by the blow-up of the scalar curvature of the Chern connection.

In this paper, we study the Ricci flow on a closed manifold of dimension $n \ge 4$ and finite time interval $[0,T)~(T < \infty)$ on which the scalar curvature are uniformly bounded. We prove that if such flow of dimension $4 \le n \le 7$…

We develop a refined singularity analysis for the Ricci flow by investigating curvature blow-up rates locally. We first introduce general definitions of Type I and Type II singular points and show that these are indeed the only possible…

In this paper, we study curvature behavior at the first singular time of solution to the Ricci flow on a smooth, compact n-dimensional Riemannian manifold $M$, $\frac{\partial}{\partial t}g_{ij} = -2R_{ij}$ for $t\in [0,T)$. If the flow has…

In each dimension $N\geq 3$ and for each real number $\lambda\geq 1$, we construct a family of complete rotationally symmetric solutions to Ricci flow on $\mathbb{R}^{N}$ which encounter a global singularity at a finite time $T$. The…

We prove that the restricted holonomy group of a complete smooth solution to the Ricci flow of uniformly bounded curvature cannot spontaneously contract in finite time; it follows, then, from an earlier result of Hamilton that the holonomy…

We extend some convergence results on nonsingular compact Ricci flows in the papers \cite{Ha:1}, \cite{Se:1} and \cite{FZZ:2} to certain infinite volume noncompact cases which are "partially" nonsingular. As an application, for a finite…

We prove uniform curvature estimates for homogeneous Ricci flows: For a solution defined on $[0,t]$ the norm of the curvature tensor at time $t$ is bounded by the maximum of $C(n)/t$ and $C(n) ( scal(g(t)) - scal(g(0)) )$. This is used to…
