We show that every graph with two crossings is 5-choosable. We also prove that every graph which can be made planar by removing one edge is 5-choosable.

A graph $G$ is equitably $k$-choosable if, for any given $k$-uniform list assignment $L$, $G$ is $L$-colorable and each color appears on at most $\lceil\frac{|V(G)|}{k}\rceil$ vertices. A graph is equitably $k$-colorable if the vertex set…

Given positive integers $k \leq m$ and a graph $G$, a family of lists $L = \{L(v) : v \in V(G)\}$ is said to be a random $(k,m)$-list-assignment if for every $v \in V(G)$ the list $L(v)$ is a subset of $\{1, \ldots, m\}$ of size $k$, chosen…

It is known that every loopless cubic graph is 4-edge choosable. We prove the following strengthened result. Let G be a planar cubic graph having b cut-edges. There exists a set F of at most 5b/2 edges of G with the following property. For…

For given graph $H$ and graphical property $P$, the conditional chromatic number $\chi(H,P)$ of $H$, is the smallest number $k$, so that $V(H)$ can be decomposed into sets $V_1,V_2,\ldots, V_k$, in which $H[V_i]$ satisfies the property $P$,…

Thomassen proved that all planar graphs are $5$-choosable. \v{S}krekovski strengthened the result by showing that all $K_{5}$-minor-free graphs are $5$-choosable. Dvo\v{r}\'{a}k and Postle pointed out that all planar graphs are…

An island in a graph is a set $X$ of vertices, such that each element of $X$ has few neighbors outside $X$. In this paper, we prove several bounds on the size of islands in large graphs embeddable on fixed surfaces. As direct consequences…

DP-coloring (also known as correspondence coloring) is a generalization of list coloring introduced recently by Dvo\v{r}\'ak and Postle (2017). In this paper, we prove that every planar graph $G$ without $4$-cycles adjacent to $k$-cycles is…

A graph $G$ is list point $k$-arborable if, whenever we are given a $k$-list assignment $L(v)$ of colors for each vertex $v\in V(G)$, we can choose a color $c(v)\in L(v)$ for each vertex $v$ so that each color class induces an acyclic…
