We perform extensive analysis of graphene Josephson junctions embedded in microwave circuits. By comparing a diffusive junction at 15 mK with a ballistic one at 15 mK and 1 K, we are able to reconstruct the current-phase relation.

The $4\pi$-periodic Josephson effect is an indicator of Majorana zero modes and a ground-state degeneracy which are central to topological quantum computation. However, the observability of a $4\pi$-periodic Josephson current-phase relation…

In a Josephson junction, the current phase relation relates the phase variation of the superconducting order parameter, $\varphi$, between the two superconducting leads connected through a weak link, to the dissipationless current . This…

Superconductor/normal conductor/superconductor (SNS) Josephson junctions with highly transparent interfaces are predicted to show significant deviations from sinusoidal supercurrent-phase relationships (CPR) at low temperatures. We…

Unlike for tunneling Josephson junctions, for which the current-phase relation is given by the sine function, with the critical current ($I_c$) and normal-state resistance ($R_N$) following the relation $I_cR_N=(\pi/2)\,\Delta_0/e$ (where…

We present transport measurements on long diffusive graphene-based Josephson junctions. Several junctions are made on a single-domain crystal of CVD graphene and feature the same contact width of ~9$\mu$m but vary in length from 400 to 1000…

We study the peculiarities in current-phase relations (CPR) of the SIsFS junction in the region of $0$ to $\pi $ transition. These CPR consist of two independent branches corresponding to $0-$ and $\pi-$ states of the contact. We have found…

We have measured the current-phase relationship (CPR) of symmetric 45 degree YBaCuO grain boundary Josephson junctions. Substantial deviations of the CPR from conventional tunnel-junction behavior have been observed: (i) The critical…

We calculate the current-voltage characteristics and critical current I_c^{array} of an array of Josephson-coupled superconducting wires. The array has two layers, each consisting of a set of parallel wires, arranged at right angles, such…

We develop a microscopic theory of ac Josephson effect in superconducting junctions described by an arbitrary scattering matrix that may include magnetic effects. In the limit of constant in time bias voltage $V$ applied to the junction we…

Josephson junctions (JJs) with non-sinusoidal current-phase relations (CPRs) have gathered increasing attention, partly due to growing interest in topological 2D materials. Understanding how CPR and inhomogeneities in JJs influence their…
