In this paper, we introduce a generalization of the pointwise H\"older spaces. We give alternative definitions of these spaces, look at their relationship with the wavelets and introduce a notion of generalized H\"older exponent.
We generalize the spherical harmonics for l=1 and give the differential equation that the generalized forms satisfy. The new forms have an obvious interpretation in the context of quantum mechanics.
We construct a compact example of 7- dimensional manifold endowed with a weakly integrable generalized G_2-structure with respect to a closed and non trivial 3-form. Moreover, we investigate which type of SU(3)-structures on a 6-dimensional…
We prove that moduli spaces of semistable parabolic bundles and generalized parabolic sheaves (GPS) with a fixed determinant on a smooth projective curve are globally F-regular type. As an application, we prove vanishing theorems on the…
The existence of an equidimensional morphism f with etale local sections from a regular algebraic space X to a locally noetherian normal algebraic space S of characteristic zero with excellent local rings implies that S is regular and f…
Let $F$ be an affine flat group scheme over a commutative ring $R$, and $S$ an $F$-algebra (an $R$-algebra on which $F$ acts). We define an equivariant analogue $Q_F(S)$ of the total ring of fractions $Q(S)$ of $S$. It is the largest…
A new characterization of conformal transformations is given. By use of this, the general form of conformal transformation on two-dimensional Minkowski space is given and its conformal structure is analyzed.
Every finitely presented algebra S is shown to be Morita equivalent to the universal localization \sigma^{-1}R of a finite dimensional algebra R. The construction provides many examples of universal localizations which are not stably flat,…
We show that H-spaces with finitely generated cohomology, as an algebra or as an algebra over the Steenrod algebra, have homotopy exponents at all primes. This provides a positive answer to a question of Stanley.
We prove effective versions of Oppenheim's conjecture for generic inhomogeneous forms in the S-arithmetic setting. We prove an effective result for fixed rational shifts and generic forms and we also prove a result where both the quadratic…
It is shown that any finitely generated subring of a global field has a universal first-order definition in its fraction field. This covers Koenigsmann's result for the ring of integers and its subsequent extensions to rings of integers in…
Supersymmetric (pseudo-classical) mechanics has recently been generalized to {\it fractional}\/ supersymmetric mechanics. In such a construction, the action is invariant under fractional supersymmetry transformations, which are the…
This is a short note on generalized $G_2$-structures obtained as a consequence of a $T$-dual construction given in a previous work of the authors together with Leonardo Soriani. Given classical $G_2$-structure on certain seven dimensional…
We determine the size of spaces of higher order Maass forms of even weight for cofinite discrete subgroups of PSL(2,R) with cusps. If exponential growth at the cusps is allowed, the spaces of Maass forms of a given order are as large as…
Let $\mathbb{F}$ be a fixed finite field, and let $A \subset \mathbb{F}^n$. It is a well-known fact that there is a subspace $V \leq \mathbb{F}^n$, $\mbox{codim} V \ll_{\delta} 1$, and an $x$, such that $A$ is $\delta$-uniform when…
In this article we prove an algebraic identity which significantly generalizes the formula for sum of powers of consecutive integers involving Stirling numbers of the second kind. Also we have obtained a generalization of Newton-Girard…
We classify AdS$_3$ solutions preserving $\mathcal{N}=(8,0)$ supersymmetry in ten and eleven dimensions and find the local form of each of them. These include the AdS$_3\times$S$^6$ solution of \cite{Dibitetto:2018ftj} and the embeddings of…
In this appendix to our paper with the same title posted on arxiv we give a quick proof of an inequality that can be substituted to Hastings's result, quoted as Lemma 1.9 in our previous paper. Our inequality is less sharp but also appears…
Generalized (\kappa ,\mu)-space forms are introduced and studied. We examine in depth the contact metric case and present examples for all possible dimensions. We also analyse the trans-Sasakian case.
We provide a geometric condition that guarantees strong Wilf equivalence in the generalized factor order. This provides a powerful tool for proving specific and general Wilf equivalence results, and several such examples are given.
