We prove that among four-dimensional ideal right-angled hyperbolic polytopes the 24-cell is of minimal volume and of minimal facet number. As a corollary, a dimension bound for ideal right-angled hyperbolic polytopes is obtained.

By gluing some copies of a polytope of Kerckhoff and Storm's, we build the smallest known orientable hyperbolic 4-manifold that is not commensurable with the ideal 24-cell or the ideal rectified simplex. It is cusped and arithemtic, and has…

In this paper, we describe all the hyperbolic 24-cell 4-manifolds with exactly one cusp. There are four of these manifolds up to isometry. These manifolds are the first examples of one-cusped hyperbolic 4-manifolds of minimum volume.

In this letter we discuss the supersymmetry issue of the self dual supermembranes in (8+1) and (4+1)-dimensions. We find that all genuine solutions of the (8+1)-dimensional supermembrane, based on the exceptional group G_2, preserve one of…

In our previous work \cite{FaragAli:2024jpo} we outlined an exploratory framework in which the 24-cell acts both as the quantum of spacetime and as a geometric representation of elementary particles. In this paper we provide comprehensive…

There are several works \cite{De} (and \cite{St}), \cite{En}, \cite{Co} and \cite{Va} enumerating four-dimensional parallelotopes. In this work we give a new enumeration showing that any four-dimensional parallelotope is either a zonotope…

We describe the geometry of an arrangement of 24-cells inscribed in the 600-cell. In $\S$7 we apply our results to the even unimodular lattice $E_8$ and show how the 600-cell transforms $E_8$/2$E_8$, an 8-space over the field $\bf{F}$$_2$,…

We consider polyhedra and 4-polytopes in Minkowski spacetime - in particular, null polyhedra with zero volume, and 4-polytopes that have such polyhedra as their hyperfaces. We present the basic properties of several classes of null-faced…

We describe a family of 4-dimensional hyperbolic orbifolds, constructed by deforming an infinite volume orbifold obtained from the ideal, hyperbolic 24-cell by removing two walls. This family provides an infinite number of infinitesimally…

An exact expression for the symbol error probability of the four-dimensional 24-cell in Gaussian noise is derived. Corresponding expressions for other regular convex polytopes are summarized. Numerically stable versions of these error…

The structure of on-shell and off-shell 2D, (4,4) supersymmetric scalar multiplets is investigated, in components and in superspace. We reach the surprising result that there exist eight {\underline {distinct}} on-shell versions and an even…
