We construct symmetries of the Chalmers-Siegel action describing self-dual Yang-Mills theory using a canonical transformation to a free theory. The symmetries form an infinite dimensional Lie algebra in the group algebra of isometries.

We consider duality transformations in N=2, d=4 Yang--Mills theory coupled to N=2 supergravity. A symplectic and coordinate covariant framework is established, which allows one to discuss stringy `classical and quantum duality symmetries'…

It is shown that all the (p,q) dyon bound states exist and are unique in N=4 and N=2 with four massless flavours supersymmetric SU(2) Yang-Mills theories, where p and q are any relatively prime integers. The proof can be understood in the…

We study the regularization and renormalization of the Yang-Mills theory in the framework of the manifestly invariant formalism, which consists of a higher covariant derivative with an infinitely many Pauli-Villars fields. Unphysical…

We discuss conservation laws for gravity theories invariant under general coordinate and local Lorentz transformations. We demonstrate the possibility to formulate these conservation laws in many covariant and noncovariant(ly looking) ways.…

We construct infinite-dimensional symmetries of the two dimensional equation which results from the dimensional reduction of the self-duality condition in (2, 2) signature space-time. These are symmetries of the dimensionally reduced…

We introduce a decomposition of D-dimensional vector amplitudes in terms of building blocks that preserve all partial amplitude relations of the parent gauge-theory. Using this decomposition, we derive a new set of amplitude relations…

The $N=4$ supersymmetric self-dual Yang-Mills theory in a four- dimensional space with signature $(2,2)$ is formulated in harmonic superspace. The on-shell constraints of the theory are reformulated in the equivalent form of vanishing…

In this article a self-contained exposition of proving perturbative renormalizability of a quantum field theory based on an adaption of Wilson's differential renormalization group equation to perturbation theory is given. The topics treated…

The partition function of general N = 2 supersymmetric SU(2) Yang-Mills theories on a four-sphere localizes to a matrix integral. We show that in the decompactification limit, and in a certain regime, the integral is dominated by a saddle…
