Zero-cycles on self-products of surfaces: some new examples verifying Voisin's conjecture

Algebraic Geometry 2018-08-29 v1

Abstract

An old conjecture of Voisin describes how 00-cycles of a surface SS should behave when pulled-back to the self-product SmS^m for m>pg(S)m>p_g(S). We exhibit some surfaces with large pgp_g that verify Voisin's conjecture.
