Vinogradov's theorem for primes with restricted digits

Number Theory 2025-01-03 v3

Abstract

Let gg be sufficiently large, b{0,,g1}b\in\{0,\ldots,g-1\}, and Sb\mathcal{S}_b be the set of integers with no digit equal to bb in their base gg expansion. We prove that every sufficiently large odd integer NN can be written as p1+p2+p3p_1 + p_2 + p_3 where pip_i are prime and piSbp_i\in \mathcal{S}_b.
