Variants of $q$-hypergeometric equation

Abstract
We introduce two variants of -hypergeometric equation. We obtain several explicit solutions of variants of -hypergeometric equation. We show that a variant of -hypergeometric equation can be obtained by a restriction of -Appell equation of two variables.
