Universal geometry as an organising principle for heterotic moduli

High Energy Physics - Theory 2026-06-30 v1 Differential Geometry

Abstract

A family of heterotic compactifications carries more structure than a collection of solutions parametrised by moduli. Once the compactification data are fibred over moduli space, deformations become components of universal curvatures. This note reviews that organisation and explains how it incorporates the α2\alpha'^2 supersymmetry corrections.
