Two-Field quintessential Higgs Inflation

Cosmology and Nongalactic Astrophysics 2022-11-15 v2

Abstract

We study a two-field quintessential Higgs inflation model in which a quintessence field with an exponential potential eβϕ/MPe^{-\beta\phi/M_P} is coupled to the Higgs field from the beginning of inflation. The Higgs field itself is also non-minimally coupled to gravity. The inflationary predictions of this model for nsn_s and rr are in good agreement with Planck 2018 data. We calculate the observables nsn_s and rr against the free parameter β\beta. Comparing these parameters with the observed nsn_s and rr in Planck 2018 paper, we find β8×103\beta \lesssim 8\times 10^{-3} that strongly disfavors the Swampland conjecture.
