Abstract
A family of generalized Erdelyi-Kober type fractional integrals is interpreted geometrically as a distortion of the rotationally invariant integral kernel of the Riesz fractional integral in terms of generalized Cassini ovaloids on . Based on this geometric view, several extensions are discussed.
