Theoretical Overview of CP Violation in B-Meson Decay

Abstract

After a brief look at CP violation in kaon decays, a short overview of CP violation in the BB-meson system and of strategies to determine the angles of the unitarity triangles of the CKM matrix is given. Both general aspects and some recent developments are discussed, including Bc±Ds±DB_c^\pm\to D^\pm_s D and BπKB\to\pi K decays, as well as the Bdπ+πB_d\to\pi^+\pi^-, BsK+KB_s\to K^+K^- system.
