Abstract

Let A\mathcal{A} denote the class of analytic functions such that f(0)=0f(0)=0 and f(0)=1f'(0)=1 in the unit disk D:={zC:z<1}.\mathbb{D}:=\{z \in \mathbb{C}: |z|<1\}. In this paper, we consider S(φ):={fA:zf(z)/f(z)φ(z):=(1+z/2)2}\mathcal{S}^*(\varphi) := \left\{ f \in \mathcal{A} : zf'(z)/f(z) \prec \varphi(z):=(1+z/2)^2 \right\}, a subclass of starlike functions and we compute the sharp second and third Hankel determinants for the functions in S(φ)\mathcal{S}^*(\varphi). Furthermore, we determine the extremal functions for the coefficient bounds of the functions belonging to S(φ)\mathcal{S}^*(\varphi).
