The muon (g - 2) anomaly and a new light vector boson

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2017-02-16 v1

Abstract

This mini review aims to outline the main experimental and theoretical results related with the search for a new light vector boson proposed as a solution of the muon g2g-2 anomaly. Additionally, I consider a model with infinite number of light vector bosons which can explain the anomaly, while still remaining consistent with current experimental bounds.
